Where is Edward Saatchi? Tell him to step outside, I just want to talk…

I don’t believe that human creativity can ever be destroyed. Yes, AI is here and expanding and becoming more powerful, but I still believe that as long as there is a drop of humanity in each of us, in one human, creative energy goes on. Because of the imagination! It can’t stop, it won’t stop, the imagination. Imagine this, what if, it’s endless. Humans will write, humans will paint, we will tell stories, and make drawings in the mud with sticks. We cannot stop. We make tunes, we hum the tune that comes from…who knows where? It’s like the grass that still grows in the cracks in the cement. We will still create around the AI.

The way these people usher in pure dystopia with gleeful smiles is so, so unsettling

The "end of human creativity" must be mostly marketing, but it still doesn't feel great that for some reason everyone involved in AI seems to have decided that the best way to push this stuff is to describe its supposed capabilities in the most repugnant, anti-human way possible. Like, who is this supposed to appeal to?
